Looking up, your eyes catch a breathtaking interplay of light and shadow kissed by the setting sun. This oil painting adopts a tilted, upward perspective, capturing the powerful ascent of a towering eucalyptus tree. As the warm, golden twilight pours generously across the canvas, the trunks are bathed in a brilliant golden glow, strikingly contrasted by mottled, deep and light blue-violet shadows scattered like fragments of jade.
In the background, the distant treetops are suffused with a warm, soft green by the setting sun, blending beautifully with the gradient blue of the sky. As light filters through the dense leaves and interlacing branches, the thick, painterly brushstrokes seem to breathe life into the stationary canvas, making the leaves appear to rustle and sway gently within the shifting light.

Most recently, her unique artistic voice was discovered by professional curators, leading to an invitation to exhibit at the "Splendour: The Transcendental Experience of Nature" exhibition during the 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
