I am honored to have this signature artwork currently featured in the Yarra Valley Art Show (Virtual ).
As a 1-meter square statement piece, this painting offers a deep immersion into the tranquil beauty of a water lily pond. The surface of the water acts as a mirror for the sky, blending sophisticated shades of deep violet, emerald, and midnight green. Using a masterful perspective, the lily pads lead your eye from the vibrant foreground into the misty distance. Each leaf is a study in colour, ranging from lush forest greens and sun-kissed yellows to unexpected touches of deep crimson and purple, while several delicate pink lilies bloom in quiet elegance among the foliage.

Wenjuan Yang has been interested in arts and crafts since she was a little girl.
About two years ago, Wenjuan began her journey with a simple passion for painting, learning everything from the ground up—from selecting the right brushes and paints to mastering the art of mixing colors and capturing light. Today, that curiosity has evolved into a recognized artistic journey.
In a remarkably short span of time, Wenjuan’s works have transitioned from the quiet of her backyard garden to the walls of private collectors. Most recently, her unique artistic voice was discovered by professional curators, leading to an invitation to exhibit at the "Splendour: The Transcendental Experience of Nature" exhibition during the 2026 Adelaide Fringe Festival.
