Reversed Cheer

This piece was inspired by my friend Jin's childhood love for Santa Claus—the warm, kind, and cheerful figure who has always brought joy and excitement to the holiday season. Growing up, Jin admired how Santa’s smile and joyful nature could instantly make anyone feel welcome and festive. For this artwork, he wanted to capture that same feeling of happiness, so he envisioned a playful, leaping Santa—a Santa full of joy and enthusiasm, as if he's leaping into the spirit of Christmas itself.

The artwork features a minimalist, 2D illustration style, with simple lines and bold colors that emphasize Santa's lively expression and energetic pose. His joyful jump conveys a sense of excitement and fun, inviting viewers to feel the same cheer and lightheartedness that he brings.
