A while ago I was too anxious to sleep, my mind was filled with things and emotions, and when I closed my eyes, they kept replaying.
(Need to lose weight, to make a portfolio for postgraduate applications, hard to apply, worried about not painting well, need to balance coursework and portfolio, struggling with what course to take…)
Unable to sleep, I opened my phone and saw the news of the high school student who disappeared and then committed suicide.
It feels like everyone's heart is piled up with all the trivialities of life, filled with stress, thoughts and memories of the past. They look like they are about to collapse, yet somehow, they are maintained.
Therefore, I decided to express my piles of anxiety, stress and memories in a painting, which constructed a part of my emotions.
