I came to Australia from China in 2017 to marry my Australian husband. In China (Henan Province) I studied pencil drawing, charcoal drawing and gouache techniques of still life and portraits under the artist Zhen WU, several of whose students have become famous. I am self-taught at oil painting, worked for one year as a full-time professional artist and have kept drawing and painting part-time since then. Since coming to Australia I have taken some oil-painting commissions for still-life and portraits. I can paint portraits on commission from photographs.
