I grew up in Beijing, China and I started learning painting from 4 years old. Drawing pictures became my biggest hobby since then. But when entering the university, I chose landscape architecture, a more practical major which requires drawing pictures often. I learned watercolour painting back then. After that, I moved to Minnesota to persue my master's degree. With my professors encouragement, I did my capstone project in watercolour style. Other than watercolour painting, I am also exploring other types such as Chinese ink painting and alcohol ink art. I like meeting with artists, and I hope my paintings will bring joy to other people.
