Walking around Beijing there are a plethora of buildings topped with the Chinese writing. I developed a series of works I call roof words. This is where I choose the words purely for their artistic weight, how good they look to me. I discovered this building on one of my walks around the city. I have put China's top contemporary artist in the window looking back out at you the viewer, in a metaphoric sharing of creative cultures.
