In this painting in the series, "Pseudo Symbolism" which is about strange people in strange places in love with highly manufactured objects we have our subject holding her new prized thing in front of a very busy Karratha Petrol station. I am looking back at the art of Ed Rushcha and Jeffrey Smart and their pop cultural influences on me a Pop artist living in the 21st century.
