Artwork Description

This work is inspired by the mysterious textures and vitality found in natural plant resins—specifically peach gum and gum arabic. These materials symbolize the passage of time and the flow of nature. In the creative process, I skillfully combine these natural gums with modern oil paints and heavyweight watercolor paper, using a degumming technique that reveals rich and unique textures. Each rinsing stage feels like a dialogue with the materials, where chance and spontaneity produce one-of-a-kind patterns and voids.

More than just an abstract visual poem, this piece stands as a material testament to the intertwining of nature and time. It brings a profound, life-filled artistic atmosphere to any space, elevating the room’s style and sophistication. Whether placed in a minimalist modern home or an expressive artistic environment, it serves as a captivating focal point that sparks emotional resonance and imagination.

Regarding materials, both peach gum and gum arabic are pure natural resins with distinctive textures and chemical properties. Combined with water-based adhesives and high-quality oil paints, the work features rich, layered color and depth. The heavyweight watercolor paper not only supports the complex technique but also ensures durability and visual impact. Each layer applied and rinsed demonstrates careful mastery of materials and respect for the beauty of chance.

This is a work of art that embodies both artistic value and natural philosophy—truly worthy of collection and thoughtful appreciation.
