"Moonlit Drift" explores the poetic tension between control and chance in the process of degummed printmaking. Using natural peach gum and gum arabic, the artist allowed the materials to dictate the flow of texture and form. The deep blue palette evokes a nocturnal, oceanic space, while the glowing yellow orb suggests the calm presence of the moon. The organic shapes and translucent layers recall floating memories or drifting forms illuminated under moonlight. This piece is both a technical exploration and a sensory meditation on stillness, movement, and the unpredictable nature of handmade materials.
