Yuminia Kenta is an artist belonging to the Pitjantjatjara language and cultural group and is from the remote community of Pukatja in South Australia. She currently resides in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) in the Northern Territory. Yuminia comes from a weaving family, having being taught by her mother Imuna Kenta. Yuminia o􏰂en makes brightly coloured tinkas (lizards) and tjulpus (birds). Yuminia has a distinct sculptural style; raw and organic in appearance, with quirky shapes and forms.
