As a painter from China, my connection with art began in my childhood. From then on, the paintbrush became my closest companion, and the time spent doodling on paper was my earliest expression of the world. After arriving in Darwin, Australia, the sunshine, colors, and multiculturalism of this land infused my creations with new inspiration. I excel at capturing the beauty of life with oil and acrylic paints—sometimes the gradually changing sky of Darwin at dusk, sometimes the notes dancing in the hands of a street performer, sometimes just the light and shadow of a potted plant by the window. My art form is never bound by a single style; I prefer to flow freely with the details I observe—today I might use thick layers of oil paint to create texture, tomorrow I might use bright acrylics to create transparency. Many people ask me what my personal style is. I always feel that style is not a deliberately defined label, but something that needs to grow slowly through continuous creation. Now, with the most genuine love for art, I am exploring my own expression in every color mixing and every stroke, and I hope that these beauties "picked up" from life can bring a touch of warmth to the hearts of those who see my paintings.
