About

Yvette has had over 35 solo and group exhibitions with galleries throughout Australia. All her creative avenues – painting, photography, film and now writing – have been part of Yvette opening her awareness around who we are as energetic beings having an experience in a physical world.

"A work of art captures a moment and that moment is always present through the form of paint on a canvas, charcoal on paper, bronze in a sculpture, or the still image of a photograph. Whatever the form, an artist is being present to bring through an essence of who they are. This essence is what connects all of life as we are this one life. We are from the one source energy.

Source energy comes into this world and is of a higher vibration than mind energy. There is less density and more expansion. Creating works of art from this space allows our oneness of life to be felt.

We view these artworks and are touched by them in some way. Sometimes it is beyond their form and what can be understood. All we know is that we can feel something peaceful, joyful, beautiful and true. A feeling that touches our heart. We know this energy as it is who we are.

When present we open to the essence of life – whether that is being with a flower, being with an animal, being with another human being, or being with a work of art. Creating from presence allows life to come into this world. It is something from the essence of all and for the essence of all.

Please enjoy my paintings. They are named “abstract landscapes” and are created by an “artist” but beyond the names and look they are from the oneness of all."
