Sunshine on my Wings

After prolonged dreary weather, I decided to head west, chasing sunshine. This lagoon I had cycled past 20 years previously and it was always stuck in my mind to return, so I went in search of it. . Being immersed in nature and surrounded by the birdlife and wildlife was an unforgettable experience. I also returned the following weekend to plein air.

Commencing my art journey six years ago, I love the process of learning, exploring, experimenting and play, that is involved with art.
Blessed with a curious mind, plus a love of nature and landscape as my motivation, I am excited to be at my easel and to create.
My favourite place is to be Plein Air, where I immerse my self in the joy of the environmental elements of wind, rain, sun and sounds which nature has to offer.
Without formal education, I began online learning in early 2024 and enjoy attending workshops to develop the loose style which I enjoy.
