Toonooba’s (Fitzroy River) water catchments begin within the creeks & Melaleuca Swamps of Capricornia, flowing onto many estuaries within Keppel Bay.
This area is essential to the physical structure of the southern end of the Great Barrier reef and supports the ecosystems & the regions fishing industry - from the Melaleuca Swamps thru Toonooba into Keppel Bay.

Moloney-Law’s inspiration is determined by investigating Australiana, ideas of art, imagination, science & culture. Yvonne’s practice observes the organic textures, colour, natural light and cultural ties to the natural world. Working in various mediums, predominantly Printmaking, Yvonne’s unique contemporary approaches and captivating images navigate the interconnectivity between nature, life and the culture of Australia.
Her work explores landscapes, ecological conservation, science, culture, and figuratively melds the natural environment with her search for connection, whilst emphasising nature and landscape. Moloney-Law’s works allude to the significance of water, life, culture, flora and fauna in our eco-system. Her images stimulate us to think about nature and inspire awareness about our environment & the landscapes of Australia.
Moloney-Law’s folio of works has gained finalist selection /awards throughout Australia: The Burnie Print Prize, Rick Amor Print Prize, Bayton Awards, Noosa Art Award, Flying Arts Awards, The Martian Hanson Awards, also exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions including the 2019 ‘Untitled’ exhibition, Traffic Jam Galleries Sydney.
