My name is Yvonne and I have been illustrating and painting since 2017, other than when I was taking art class in school year. I love the challenge of watercolors and creating characters I can call my own.
I am inspired by my surroundings in the Hunter Valley where I live and work. There are many scenes I see each day which spark my imagination plus my characters follow my travels to other countries as well.
I have, my mice, Mitsy and Macey who get up to all sorts of adventures with their little birds who are in every painting either being helpful, loving or cheeky as you will see as I post more paintings in the future.
I love seeing people smile when viewing my paintings, as that then makes me smile as well. I feel so much enjoyment in creating my characters and the scenes they are included in , right down to what they are dressed in.
I see beauty and fun in many day-to-day activities, and this then inspires me to create another scene of happiness.
I continue to strive and challenge myself with future paintings which I know you will enjoy.
