Artwork Description

This artwork comments on being isolated within your home . It is layers of feelings that express the physical barriers still being experienced around the world as well as the similarities which are related through social media and digital forms. It uses the imagery of the view of a suburban backyard as the subject matter which different elements are superimposed on top. The solid yellow lines are like a fence; they are the physical restrictions and freedom of movement experienced due to COVID 19. The sky is used as a representation of openness and the slivers of white and copper lines are the invisible hands and web of connections that keep everyone together and updated about what is going elsewhere.

From the Artist:

Hi,
My work is a reflection of what inspires me. I enjoy observing my surroundings and using architectural dwellings juxtaposed with natural landscapes to reflect human experiences . My art often explores this disconnection by buildings compositions using architectural and geometric forms against trees, ocean horizons and vast skies.
