Original Artwork's Description

This piece is inspired by the current construction development occurring within my suburb a place full of acreages and bush land. It contemplates how we are choosing to develop and refers to efforts placed into the construction industry after COVID verses that of climate action and bushfires. The fire which ravaged through Australia where brought about through climate problems which are likely to occur if we do not change things. It compares how the efforts we are placing are put into short term solutions and not long term. The subject matter shows an old acreage as the now and it uses a fiery sky in background and a sign in the foreground to show the in-between of choices that we are making.

From the Artist:

Hi,
My work is a reflection of what inspires me. I enjoy observing my surroundings and using architectural dwellings juxtaposed with natural landscapes to reflect human experiences . My art often explores this disconnection by buildings compositions using architectural and geometric forms against trees, ocean horizons and vast skies.
