Artwork Description

This artistic piece portrays the Mooloolah River, which holds significant ancestral ties to my family, fl owing through the centre. On either side of the river, there are Shell Middens, ancient deposits of shells. The dynamic brushstrokes and composition of this painting narrate the story of the ebb and fl ow of the tides, as well as the perpetual movement of water and sand that alternately cover or reveal the Shell Middens.
