Zartisha Davis is a proud Kabi Kabi/Gubbi Gubbi woman from the Sunshine Coast, her artwork draws inspiration from the saltwater stories particularly the Shell Middens ancients deposits of shells left behind from her Ancestors, a reminder of their abundant feats and rich history along the coast.

Zartisha Davis b.1990
Zartisha Davis was born in Nambour she is a Murulla Woman from Jhdungah Country Sunshine Coast Within the Gubbi Gubbi Nation and Language Group.
Her songlines also include belonging to the Cobble Cobble people of the Burrungam Nation also known as the caretakers of Bonyi (Bunya Mountains)
Zartisha is passionate about her culture, dance and artwork and often depicts Saltwater People, Shell Fish Eaters, Canoe Makers and Healers from the Murulla people which is her great grandmothers country and people.
