About

I am contemporary visual artist working in West Gippsland area. Originally I came to this beautiful country from Czech Republic in 1981 and from the beginning spent many hours on the beach looking at the sea and admiring its glorious sunrises and sunsets. My work is mainly inspired by dramatic skylines, often turning into wonderful kaleidoscope of colours. After visiting Western Australia I fell in love with their coast and many of my paintings are from this great regent.

Following her sad passing we still continue run this portrait group in her memory. That's where I learn of David Chen's (M.A.B.A) monthly workshop. I have been attending his class for several years now. David's technique and great painting skill is very motivating and encouraging.
