This artwork is created using collected shells, sand and coastal materials from 90 Mile Beach and the Gippsland Lakes. A hazy mauve and purple sky at the end of a warm and sultry Summers day where gentle waves are softly meeting the shoreline. Peaceful and with a unique sense of place. An abstract seascape painting inspired by the East Gippsland Coast.
Created with acrylic paint, added texture, collected coastal materials and oil pastel. Finished with a UV protected varnish, the painting is strung with picture wire and ready to hang. No framing required!
