Artwork Description

Mixed Media on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This is a impression of a shipyard which I worked in.... The memory of the experience will always stay with me as I worked on Australia's first Oil rig "Ocean Digger". This was built by in Whyalla in 1967 by BHP back in the days when Australia heavy manufacturing industry. This shipyard was the university of life .This experience introduced me to trades people from all over the world. It was an amazing experience for a 17 year old boy fresh out of school which also introduced me to the world of heavy engineering. Then 40ty years after the event I have told that I have been exposed to Asbestos through this experience ... hence 'MESO man'
