Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This painting a has ecological message. This was inspired by a voyage I did for a week around the Whitsunday islands off the coast of Queensland. The fragile beauty of the environment came riveting home to me with constant presences of pollution in the waters in the form of plastic rubbish ...With global warming and threat of losing the Great Barrier Reef.. plus the damage of the run -off from the rural irrigation into the estuaries along the coast, prompted my thought processes to produce this painting.
