I find the dry granite country in Australia quite beautiful and dramatic, thinking of the great cataclysms in the earth that gave rise to its forms. At the same time it is strangely peaceful as there’s a sense of timelessness and immovability in the landscape. The blackened trees with their gnarled bark pick up glints of light and the whole effect is slightly surreal, emphasised by the contrasting blue boulders.
Painted on the sides so will not require framing.
