I have been wanting to paint A Currawong for quite some time. Their vibrant yellow eyes are like searchlights set amongst its jet black feathers is such a stunning contrast. The meandering floral vines in the fabric i chose for this piece reminded me of the Versace Vanity fabric pattern with its acanthus leaf and chrysanthemum motif.
