I am fascinated by thunderstorms, clouds and lightning and wanted to create a night storm with billowing thunder clouds. The clouds illuminated by intermittent lightning. I achieved this by lots of shading and smudging with the white charcoal pencil. I created this artwork about 7 years ago for The Wintergarden Gallery, Geelong, for the Future Creatives Exhibition.
