The human skull, a symbol of mortality and the fleeting nature of life, is partially obscured by smoke in my work, representing the veil of uncertainty and the idea that our understanding of reality is limited and subjective. The smoke serves as a metaphor for the intangible and ephemeral, suggesting that there is always more to discover and comprehend about our existence. The piece invites the viewer to contemplate their perception of truth and contemplate their mortality.
