Winterbloom is a series of long-exposure photographs taken during Melbourne COVID-19 restrictions. Within these imposed constraints I wanted to challenge myself and experiment with abstract expression to find beauty, joy, freedom and positivity in the mundane.

In these self-portraits, the movement of my own body creates an interplay of light and colour, revealing hidden layers of resilience within myself. It invites others to do the same, to think of their intuitive potential and what can emerge in times of darkness.
