Immense, a towering, craggy surface lit by searing sunlight. Inky shadows drawing patterns across orange and rose coloured rock, mineral surfaces refracting the light.

Light, energy, emotion - I am interested in visual perception and visual sensation. Nature inspired organic shapes and contrasts of colour and texture explore themes of energy and place. Brushstrokes are left raw and immediate recording my presence in the work. Their abstraction invites a collaboration with the viewer to complete a mood or experience that is individual to each person.
