Autumn colours vivid in the warm sun. Summer growth tumbling down a wall, leaf edges just starting to curl and retreat. Warm tones and gestural brushwork on a cream ground.

Light, energy, emotion - I am interested in visual perception and visual sensation. Nature inspired organic shapes and contrasts of colour and texture explore themes of energy and place. Brushstrokes are left raw and immediate recording my presence in the work. Their abstraction invites a collaboration with the viewer to complete a mood or experience that is individual to each person.
