Walking around my suburb during the lockdown I've seen new things. New buildings, new walls, new gardens and simple things like leaves freshly blown off the trees collecting in the gutter and washed into cracks and indentations in the street. I'm interested in the patterns in nature, especially how shifting light picks out details usually overlooked. This work has gestural brushstrokes and layers of colour.
