A study of a protea bunch in a vintage jar, this is a little looser in style as I restricted myself to a larger brush for the whole painting. From this I was able to study the contrasts of colour tones within the still life.

My flowers are sourced either from our cold climate mountain garden or from local growers in our area. The jug is part of my vintage and antique household collections from my other career as an Vintage merchant.

I have painted this in oils on cradled board - it comes to you unframed with a hanger to the back however I can arrange framing for you at an additional cost of $80 with a turn around of two weeks at the framers. Please contact bluethumb if you would like to take up this option.
