Choosing the colours at the start of a piece is an important part of my artistic process and and I love choosing the colours through how I am feeling, the seasons we are in and inspiration from nature around me. It is fascinating how a certain colour can really change a rooms ambiance and feel.

Turquoise is linked to calmness, serenity and peace of mind, as well as to mental clarity. Turquoise encourages creativity. It is a colour linked to the ocean. It is also associated with balance and emotional stability.
