The inspiration for 'Untamed Heart' comes from my love of nature and wanting to be able to produce beautiful organic elements and to represent them in a way that they invoke feelings and emotions.
Untamed Heart is an abstract expressionist landscape that evokes emotions through colour, organic form and textural brushstrokes. This painting is about the feelings of the heart and this is portrayed by the vibrant red tones embracing the deep darker blue edges in a contrasting and intense way. Moving textural brushstrokes causing a visual delight of emotions, turmoil, love and happiness, all competing in the one painting.
