My influence was the story of pemulwuy, a bidgigal resistance fighter of the eora nation. Pemulwuy was one of the first resistance fighters in Australia. His story is that of a true hero. My intention for this drawing was to capture a pivotal moment in history that would inevitably change Australia and the First Nations forever.
