Back in 2020 Harry Styles wore a dress on the cover of Vogue. Some lady then went on a twitter rant about men wearing dresses and “society not surviving without strong men, and bring back manly men blah blah blah”. Harry elegantly responded by posting a photo on Instagram of him wearing a powder blue suit with a pleated blazer and ruffled shirt while eating a banana and his caption was “bring back manly men”. I love this message and how it challenges toxic masculinity and it inspired me to paint this portrait.
