Rockpool

Rockpool is an original abstract artwork on canvas using warm, earthy, soft muted tones along with those more cool indicating light playing upon a body of water. Inspired by a natural landscape setting, rocks, native plants and cool, clear water in dappled sunlight.

Pretty, rustic, expressive and decorative, this work would be at home in a variety of settings. It has an contemporary modern appearance and holds an inviting, happy and uplifting ambience in the room!

Rockpool is completed with a modern matte protective finish and black edges.

I use a finger friendly coated wire strung between solid D rings to ensure easy and durable hanging.

This artwork is ready to hang and is marked to show authenticity. A Certificate Of Authenticity will be provided.

Drawing rich inspiration from her surrounding environment, Andrea Edwards creates from her Sydney studio, located between ocean, lake and bushland. Her painting takes form in an abstract expressive style with an impressionist feel. Working intuitively, immersed in her long held fascinations for colour theory, communication and aesthetics, allows her art to continually evolve, flow and share connection with an audience.

Calming and meditative, perhaps engaging and restorative to the viewer; Andrea’s artworks have often been said to contain an ethereal and healing element; inviting the observer to engage with their own individual experience, senses and heartfelt memory.

Andrea’s artwork has been featured nationally in a number of publications, including Grand Designs Australia and Home Design as well as internationally with an interior design journal. Her paintings are now held worldwide privately and are sought out by interior designers. Selected in 2019 by Tess and Luke, Channel 9, The Block television series winners; Andrea’s work has also been chosen, translated and utilized for both packaging and corporate branding projects.

Andrea's works have found home in Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia to date.

As a multiple time art prize finalist, commission, exhibiting and online artist, Andrea looks forward to engaging with her collectors.
