I may look familiar; you've probably met my cousin, "Wildflower Blues'.

Wildflower Blues & Sage is a rustic, textural and expressive original artwork on canvas. Organic mark making along with texture relief give visual impact, interest and depth to this piece within the room space.

This artwork is attractive, soft yet lively when you spend time with it. It has a fresh feeling of Spring.

This ready to hang original is ambient, decorative and adds pretty colour and a sense of the vivid nature of thriving wildflowers in a natural setting! Using varied blues from deep and inky to gentle light baby blue, teal, varied sage tones and multiple soft greens, taupe, hints of gold, yellow, stone, dove grey and soft peach alongside both warm and cool whites, give a fresh, modern contemporary look.

This artwork is finished with a protective light satin layer and modern matte white edges complete the picture.
Wildflower Blues & Sage has been strung using a finger friendly twine between solid D rings for easy and durable hanging.

Drawing rich inspiration from her surrounding environment, Andrea Edwards creates from her Sydney studio, located between ocean, lake and bushland. Her painting takes form in an abstract expressive style with an impressionist feel. Working intuitively, immersed in her long held fascinations for colour theory, communication and aesthetics, allows her art to continually evolve, flow and share connection with an audience.

Calming and meditative, perhaps engaging and restorative to the viewer; Andrea’s artworks have often been said to contain an ethereal and healing element; inviting the observer to engage with their own individual experience, senses and heartfelt memory.

Andrea’s artwork has been featured nationally in a number of publications, including Grand Designs Australia and Home Design as well as internationally with an interior design journal. Her paintings are now held worldwide privately and are sought out by interior designers. Selected in 2019 by Tess and Luke, Channel 9, The Block television series winners; Andrea’s work has also been chosen, translated and utilized for both packaging and corporate branding projects.

Andrea's works have found home in Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia to date.
