Artwork Description

Acrylic on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This artwork comes with an external frame

This painting was made on the side of Shurdington Road, Crafers, near the entrance to Cleland National Park. You can see James Street and Blackburn Drive. There are a few pieces of gravel from the location stuck on the painting. The work was exhibited as my entry for the 2007 Heysen Prize. It is a very striking work from a distance so works well in a big space, but has lots more going on as you get closer to it.

This painting is framed in black meranti as shown.
