I absolutely love banksia seed pods! Each one is completely different. They are such quirky looking objects. I have painted 32 of these little Aussie items, lined up perfectly, simply because I love them and they bring me joy. I have conveyed this mood through the use of lots of different colours, making this still life a semi abstract work.
