Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

"Sunlit Pink Proteas" by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting and requires framing to hang.

When Proteas are in bloom, I delight in their beauty and find different ways of painting them. I'm really happy with this latest bolder than usual experiment of sun, shade and spontaneity. Although Proteas are native to South Africa, they grow really well in Australia, and we often think of them as our own...joyously shared between continents.

Mission: I strive to express emotion in my artwork and hope it resonates with you too. I hope that it evokes a positive feeling of joyful peace and that it brightens up a special spot in your home. My style is a combination of looseness and detail, allowing watercolour to do its magic and then adding some detail bringing the subject to life.

Images:  For best viewing on your screen, this painting has been professionally scanned allowing colours to be as true as possible. They may still differ a little depending on your screen.

Shipping: This painting will be sent in a flat pack and include a signed certificate of authenticity. Sent with Australia Post, fully insured requiring a signature upon receipt.
