Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper

Signed on the front.

Wattle Spray by Anica Amphlett is an original watercolour painting. It measures 37cm x 27cm and requires framing to hang.
An imaginary floral spray with Wattle blossoms, Eucalyptus leaves, and other foliage reminiscent of our native Australian flora.
I have been allowing myself to rely more on my imagination than that of botanical facts. This is a rather new way of painting for me, as I have always wanted to be informed of all the nitty gritty details, even if they weren't seen in the painting.
I have let my hair down a little and bring to you this Wattle Spray, which was largely composed along the way. It gives me a sense of liberal satisfaction and joy and hope it may brighten a special spot in your home too.
