I have painted several coats on this canvas before even thinking of how this was going to go. Intuition kicks in and my quest for colours, shapes, mark making, light and dark, cool and warm kicks in. I have an idea of colours. I try with every painting to give it its own personality. Sometimes I am more successful than others, but I would not offer a painting for sale unless I was totally happy with it. THIS PAINTING DOES NOT NEED TO BE FRAMED. The stretched frame will have the painting on the sides.
