Memories of childhood - the weekly visit to the local lolly store, filled with anticipation for what was behind the closed doors. The building is inspired by the lolly shop in Warrandyte, Victoria.

'Waiting II' is the second edition in the my Waiting series, which explores the varying stories behind and emotions felt during this positioning. Waiting can be the state in which you expect or hope that something will happen soon, it can be done with anticipation and excitement, fear and apprehension, or simply boredom.

'Waiting II' comes ready to hang, with the sides painted to match the picture. Painted using high quality acrylic paint and coated with a gloss varnish.
