It would take too long to tell you about the years of deep affection I have held for Elvis. The recent Baz Luhrmann movie reignited my fascination and it wasn’t long before I found an Elvis playlist to keep me company while I painted. . The music moved me in such a way that I found myself using my fingers and brushes as though I ‘was’ the water. I became the waves. I became the rocks. Life gets so busy and I can always rely on time in my studio to still my mind and leave the noise behind. Sometimes, its more appealing to be in a place where there’s “a little less conversation and a lot more action” 😁
