When I painted this soft scene my brush strokes were delicate and my fingertips barely skimmed the canvas in places where I wanted to impart the fog. This artwork forced me to be slow and gentle with my touch and it gave me such a peaceful feeling. I felt immersed in the subject, a road trip, a destination, always somewhere to be. We are all on a journey and yes, we must rest and revive to survive.
