A lot of my work is inspired by my garden and the natural world. I am always taking photos of compositions that catch my eye. These vibrant colours are inspired by the painting movement les Fauves or Wild Beasts. Some members of this early 20th century movement were Matisse, Derain and Delaunay and their works were all about a passion for colour and energy and I have tried to capture this here.
This small work is framed in Tasmanian oak and is ready to hang.
