This is a black and white version of the original 'Bird of a feather'. During COVID lockdown and the horrible rain early in 2022 we had a pair of King Parrots visit us on our balcony, our kids would feed them and after a few days were were able to pat them. I was able to get really close with my macro lens to capture the beautiful colours, depth and texture of their feathers. I found this image really lends itself to a black and white which helps the texture to really pop.
