Anton Pulvirenti’s work playfully deals with themes around memory and history, adopting an Alice in Wonderland type of approach in its execution. His work evokes a sense of wonder and introspection with each piece being a visual poem, drawing upon wartime and familial experiences.
Born in Brisbane in 1973, Anton attained his postgraduate degree in painting in 2014 at Sydney University and has work in Korea, Italy, Singapore and the US.
